Energy Surveys 

Successfully improving energy efficiency or internal climate requires a good understanding of the existing situation. A week of onsite work followed by another week for report preparation often provides the necessary big picture of the current state. Airflow rates, temperatures, and humidity levels are often unclear. Once the current situation is known, energy-saving concepts can be developed. In many cases, you also need to include the drying process energy, as well as air and water balance calculations. (Paper drying, wood drying, and food drying all share similar characteristics.) This is often a "dirty and sweaty" week of my work. Many times, energy-saving projects are combined with ventilation improvements. These require CO2, preliminary VOC, and dust measurements, which can be done simultaneously.
